Barnes Moving & Storage INC

I had an in state move so I hired Barnes Moving. This morning the team of Matt, Nick, Isaiah showed up on time, did a walk through then got to work. They were courteous, professional and extremely careful and respectful of my property. They worked diligently and efficiently. I'd hire this company ag...

Matt and Isiaha did a fabulous job wrapping up and moving my possessions. I was very happy with the job they did. They were polite and professional. I definitely recommend recommend this company!

Isaiah, Nick, and Steve were great! Without their help there was no way I could have moved into my new place. They moved everything with precision and care and placed everything right where I wanted it. This is my second time using Barnes Moving I would recommend them to anyone who is moving

We have used BARNES MOVING, probably five or six times between my daughter and myself and my partner. I can’t even speak high enough about them. They have moved us in many different homes in Connecticut. They have moved us from Connecticut to Florida as we have a home there as well.. They only moved...

Matt and Isaiah just finished moving our furniture to storage for some upcoming renovations. Prompt, courteous, professional, personable and went above and beyond with some wall mounted TVs. Can't wait until everything comes back and I get to work with them again. Dean, you have a great team in thes...

This was my first time hiring a moving company and the whole process couldn't have gone better! I called the office a few weeks before my move-in date and received a flat rate estimate for my 1 bd apartment move (which was by far the most reasonable quote out of the many companies I called). The cre...

Excellent service from Isiah and Matt this morning (A-team)! They were on time and took care to protect everything before moving it. Very professional!!

We used Barnes Moving for the first time last September to move to a nearby home. Barnes Moving was easy to contact and prompt to arrive at our home for the move. Matt and Isaiah were both professional and personable and took extreme care when preparing and moving our belongings onto and off the tru...

I wrote this review for another website a while ago but for some reason it was not posted. So I will try here! In February, I engaged Barnes Moving to move my belongings from Groton, CT to Warwick, RI. It was a process that actually took three days. There was a lot of stuff!! I am on my own and have...

Helpful, professional, nicely priced. We are happy to have had them work with us. The movers were quick and courteous as well!

We had a pretty stressful move from out of state, but the three young movers (Matt, Cade and Jose) made us so happy. It was on a Friday, and all of them came with such a positive energy and big smile. Throughout the unloading and unpacking, they never lost their smile. Their positive vibe is infecti...

These guys were great! We used them for a local move and I highly recommend them. They reached out to reschedule us when a nor'easter was bearing down on our planned move date, and got us moved a day early. They packed our apartment efficiently and everything arrived in great shape--nothing lost or...

I was referred to this company by my local company that was booked solid. From the moment I called, Dean and Sharon were a pleasure to deal with. The day of the move, the truck arrived on time and Gregg and and his other two workers (Jose and I'm sorry I can't remember the other man's name) were pr...

I just used barnes for a move and simply can't recommend tem highly enough! VERY helpful and accommodating and friendly! I had 6 men moving me out and in because of time restraints and they emptied my raised ranch and 2 bay garage in 2 and a half hours in 2 trucks. DO NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS WO...

Three gentlemen showed up on time and did a great job wrapping furniture up and moving. Very courteous and asked where we wanted things or they could rearrange things if we wanted. Excellent service! Great price.

I have worked with Barnes Moving & Storage for years using them as a receiver for my Interior Design clients. They have always been consummate professionals. Recently I used them for a my own cross-country move and they did a great job! Highest recommendations!

I cannot say enough good things about this business. We had a difficult move with a antique grand piano, spinning wheel, elliptical, etc. At the other end there were many stairs to deal with. They had plenty of help to insure everything was treated properly. With many boxes of heavy books and furnit...

It was 6 years ago Barnes helped move our family, and everything went quite smoothly, the 3 guys worked hard all day long packing, and then the next day unpacking. They put all our stuff wherever we wanted it without fail. Barnes also had the lowest price by $500 out of 3 local moving companies.

Had a two bedroom apartment to move. The crew, led by Kevin, were right on time, very courteous and took great care with the furniture. They were very helpful with making the most of the storage facility I had rented and even noticed I had left a Comcast remote in the TV stand which I was about to f...

I just completed a move from coast to coast through Barnes Moving and Storage. I can't praise them highly enough for their complete professionalism, courtesy, care and good will. From start to finish they did an impeccable job. Every item was wrapped carefully and thoroughly, not one item packed was...
