Richard's Junksolution & Moving LLC

Richard's moving now owns the consignment store in Darien, and they are WONDERFUL. I bought one chair and they offered to take it to my house in Wilton because they happened to be moving someone near my house, who does that anymore in this world? To offer you something as a courtesy!! How great is t...

Richard is a pleasant and affable business owner. He is very dependable - he arrives when he says he will and he takes everything in an efficient manner. When it comes to pricing, he is quite fair. Pleasure to do business with!

Rich and all his workers were respectful, clean, fast and extremely well done!! It was just what we needed!

Richard and his team moved a large vintage couch purchased from a local design center for me during a torrential storm. He took very good care to wrap it in plastic and blankets and also covered the walkway inside my house to keep from getting wet. Service was friendly and efficient on a Sunday non...

Don't look anywhere else! Professional, courteous, HONEST and RELIABLE! Richard and Betty were attentive and kind and understanding from our extremely hectic, constantly changing Darien relocation of law firm. And his workers...each one shook my hand in greeting, well shaven, clean, well dressed and...

Recently my family moved and wanted to share our terrific experience with Richards Junk Solutions and Moving. Moving is stressful and there are many choices, however we received an overwhelming amount of recommendations from friends and family about Richard and Betty. Now that the move is over, I ha...

Richard’s team is always responsive and friendly. They show up on time and work quickly. I have used them twice in the past few years to clean up accumulated toys, electronics and old furniture, and I would highly recommend them if you have a big job or just want to free up some space with a sprin...

I had a really great experience woking with Richard's Moving company. The movers were extremely professional, fast, and nice. They all had a smile on their face the entire time and were extremely helpful in every way. They went out of their way to make sure all my items were wrapped properly and tra...

Can’t say enough great things about this company. Scheduling with the office was a breeze and pleasure to work with! I had a move scheduled for Saturday and needed them to be at my storage unit for 8am. They arrived at 730 and were ready to roll. They sent three guys and had an extremely efficient s...

Decent enough service, nice guys that work for Richard. My gripe was being charged $900 for 1 month 'rental' of 30 blankets to cover my stuff whilst it was in storage at Westy's - for a month waiting for the property I was moving to, to become available.... Yes rental.... This added nearly 50% to th...

We used Richard's for an in-town move with storage between our move out from one house and move in from another. Overall was a great experience on all ends. The move was complicated by delays on our end (with the close)- but Richard and his wife took excellent care of our stuff and adjusted to our t...

Love, love, Love Richards Junk Solution/Moving. Highly recommend. Betty made me feel comfortable from the start. She was calm, professional and kind. We set up the packing/moving last minute. She squeezed me in and was amazing. The movers (AC/Pops/Joe) were the best. Carefully packed delicate china...

Richard's Moving Solutions went above my expectations with my move from my condo to a new residence. I've had bad experiences in the past with other movers damaging my furniture so my experience with Richard's Moving Solutions was a breath of fresh air! The movers, Joe and Pop, were very professio...

Bobby and G moved my family of three from a three floor townhouse to a home in Stamford. Super pleased with the move. They wrapped the couches and efficiently hustled the boxes and furniture out to the truck. They were hard workers and careful with the pieces. Super pleased they bagged all bedding!!...

They were very nice when they gave me an estimate. The assured me my move would be done well and my furnishings would be protected. It was not good. They showed up late. Instead of 9 am it was about 11am.They said they were on their way in the early morning and caught in traffic. I checked the traffic...

After another mover I hired to pickup a sectional couch i bought in an estate auction had ghosted me (turned off his phone and wasn't answering my texts day of), I was panicking and in a lurch as the couch had a deadline of 2pm or I would lose the money I spent which was not cheap. I called Richard'...

Richard's Moving Company helped us last weekend and they were great! Very nice, efficient and very experienced movers! They find quick solutions for everything and you can tell they have been doing this for quite some time. This is the second time they helped us move in the last three years and I th...

The absolute best moving service ! In the last year Richard and his team has moved me twice and could not have been more helpful. They carefully wrapped all of my items and everything arrived in one piece. Both times all of his staff were professional , friendly and accommodating. You will find Rich...

I can't say how pleased I am with the services I received. I have used several moving companies in the past, but I believe this is the best I have used so far. Not only are they the best in terms of services provided, but the fee charged was very reasonable and not overpriced like other movers. They...

Amazing! Was a little skeptical as there were no reviews. Richard came in the week before and I was blown away by the price he quoted! On moving day he. Showed up earlier than expected and we went through the house again! He told me that there was a lit more that had to be moved (he was right!) he g...
